The Olvera Street Merchant Association Foundation and El Pueblo Historical Monument present “The Blessing of the Animals.” This centuries-old tradition of blessing the animals is celebrated with a procession on Olvera Street led by the Archbishop of Los Angeles. “Circles and Circuits: Chinese Caribbean Art”
presented by The Friends of The Chinese American Museum in partnership with the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at New York University and the California African American Museum. This exhibition explores the art of the Chinese Caribbean diaspora from the early 20th century to the present day by examining the contributions of artists of Chinese descent in Cuba, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and beyond.| Tuesdays – Sundays | 10:00 am – 3:00 pm | The Chinese American Museum
